Summer Work program - join in one evening!
Now the season is over, once again it is time to refurbish, renew, refresh and repaint! Every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the summer a small but perfectly formed band of volunteers meet at the theatre do do all the essential work that needs to happen when there are no productions.
This year, why not join them. No experience or special skills are required, and coming along for just one evening will be immensely helpful. Work starts at around 8pm, and the bar is opened when everyone feels enough has been done that night.
So whether you are an acting member, do backstage, front of house, bar, box office, coffee bar, are one of the "scrubbers" (who meet before each play to hoover and tidy all the front of house areas) or enjoy coming along to watch the productions, pick an evening between June 29th and September 16th, put your working clothes on and pop down. Or pick more than one evening! We look forward to seeing you.
Some of the things that are being done this summer. If you do have specialist skills you think may be of use (perhaps you have green fingers, or are an electronics expert!), please make sure you let someone know so we can utilise your skills to their best advantage:
