Directors Peter and Gaynor Griffin write:

We present for your seasonal delight an evening of dramatic faux pas, featuring a cast of actors with that unique talent of appearing to have absolutely no particular talent whatsoever.

‘Streuth’ and ‘A Collier’s Tuesday Tea’ are two plays in which everything that can conceivably go wrong does so...think ‘Acorn Antiques’.

In both plays, cues are missed, effects fail, props are lost or in the wrong place and ‘Streuth’ gets itself into such a confusion that it is doomed, apparently to perpetual motion; but the coarse actors struggle gamefully on throughout.

Streuth: There's been a murder! Who is the killer? Who cares? A whodunnit that could have been written by Agatha Christie... but wasn't.

A Collier's Tuesday Tea: By 'eck! There's trouble down t'pit in this reet grim coal mining saga from oop North.

So come along and join us for what will promise to be an evening you certainly won’t forget in a hurry; join us and see some of your favourite Whitworth actors in a bit of a pickle; join us as they try to climb out of ‘holes’ bigger than the biggest hole in the whole history of holes!!

And if it all gets too much for you remember you have to pass the bar on your way out!!
