Since 2000, our Youth Group has been a valuable training ground for involvement in the GWT’s adult productions. It’s great fun too!

Every year, the group meets weekly from September to rehearse for a show in the Spring. This production runs for three nights and enjoys the same fantastic onstage facilities as our adult productions. The group is currently trained and directed by qualified drama teacher and GWT member Susanna Hook.

So, what do you need to know?

• To become a member of our Youth Group, you must attend Secondary School (Year 7 upwards).
• You must be available to rehearse each Sunday, from September to the end of March, at 10.00am to 1.00pm. (The group “breaks up” during school holidays).
• You must be available to attend some additional evening rehearsals at the end of March, prior to the three public performances.
• You must pay the annual participation fee of £20 at the first Youth Group session of the year. Unless you are already a member, you must also pay an additional £5 fee to cover your GWT junior membership subscription.
